Dried and preserved flowers are a great, long-lasting way to brighten up your home and can last for years if cared for properly.
Our tips below will help you to look after your blooms and keep them looking fresh!
How to care for your dried blooms
- No water, please! Dried flowers don’t like water, which makes them pretty low maintenance! They need to be kept away from humidity to avoid them going limp and brown - so no blooms in the bathroom!
- Just like fresh flowers, you should keep them out of direct sunlight and away from radiators so they retain their lovely colours.
- If your blooms start to get dusty, you can use a hairdryer on a low, cool setting to gently blow the dust from them. You can also use a feather duster to keep them clean.
- Fluff them up! Rearranging your dried flowers every so often keeps them looking as good as new.
